A Memorial Park Engagement session on a beautiful early fall day! The weather is starting to turn, there is a little bit of that summer edge starting to soften a bit and I am so excited! This day, for Cody and Maya’s engagement session, the weather was perfect!

Memorial Park Engagement Session

Every time I go to Memorial Park I am so grateful that I get to live here. I remember the first time, I was walking around and location scouting, I called my family and told them about it. This was going to be one of the places that I brought them when they finally come to visit me here in Houston. I did put a little asterisk by that, as long as it is not in the summer heat. But, this day, for Cody and Maya’s engagement session, it was perfect! These two are getting married in almost exactly a year. I’m hoping that in October 2022 we have the same luck with this gorgeous weather!

Cody and Maya met in high school! I love this! Maya went to private school with strict parents and Cody was the “skater boy”. Who else is singing the Avril Lavigne song? If not, you should look it up, it is a good one! (Did I just show my age?) Despite all of their differences, here we are! Just a year away from their forever. And I am so happy to be a part of it!

I loved how much fun we had, discovering new places around the Eastern Glades in Memorial Park. When you get to them, my favorite images are the ones with the bistro lights in the background. I LOVE alllll of them, but there is just something about bistro lights fuzzy in the background that has my heart.
