I am obsessed with this Conroe Engagement Session! Kaleb and Kristina and I met up at the WG Jones State Forest, which is, quickly, becoming my favorite place to shoot. I just adore these two. I had to remind myself to stop chatting and keep shooting because I just loved talking with them! This is why engagement sessions are so important. It makes your wedding day so much more comfortable and it flows so much easier.
Kaleb and Kristina met on a dating app. After a month of talking on the phone, she agreed to meet up. She said that it was pretty obvious that this was “it” after their first meeting. I love stories like this! I feel like Carlos and I met online before that was even a thing. (Our sisters were friends and we exchanged email addresses through them.) I love happy stories like this. Now, look at them! They bought a house, have 2 cute pups, and are getting married next spring!
One thing that I was dying over during Kaleb and Kristina’s session was the beautiful light! Being a Houston wedding photographer this past year, I have learned to expect the unexpected in the weather department. But this weekend, the weather was so kind to us! I was so grateful! Not only did we have beautiful weather, but insane light. Just look at the way that it is shining through the trees at their Conroe engagement session. Ugh! My photographer heart was so happy!
Kaleb and Kristina are getting married at the gorgeous Farmhouse Wedding Venue in Montgomery in May. I am so excited and fully expecting this same weather for that day. I’ve already put in my order with Mother Nature!
Below are just a few of my favorite images from the shoot.
