With more than 20 years behind the camera, I know how to capture the genuine connection, personality, chaos and little in-between moments that make your family yours, whether we're at the Vilano beach Guana Reserve, a beautiful Ponte Vedra park, or somewhere around historic St. Augustine.

Step By Step
STEP ONE: INQUIRY & BOOKING
Tell me all about your family and what you're hoping to capture! We'll talk through the different session options, pricing, and what you want most from your experience. I love hopping on a quick Zoom or FaceTime so we can get to know each other, answer your questions, hear all your ideas, and make sure we're a great fit. This is where the fun starts, and I can't wait to start planning a session that feels completely like your family!
STEP THREE: IT'S SESSION DAY!
It’s finally here! You’ve planned the outfits, picked the location, and now it’s time to have some fun together. I’ll guide you through the session and give you plenty of direction when you need it, while also leaving room for the hugs, laughter, snuggles, and silly moments that make your family yours. If there’s something special you want to include, just let me know ahead of time so we can make it happen. My goal is for everyone to relax, enjoy each other, and leave with photographs that truly feel like your family.
STEP FIVE: FAVORITES TO FAMILY HEIRLOOMS
We will then meet at my home in St. Augustine or online for your Ordering Appointment. We'll go through your favorite images and we’ll choose the images and products that are perfect for your family. I’ll walk you through everything from artwork and albums to digitals and gift prints, with options for a variety of budgets. My goal is to make it easy and fun to turn your favorite images into something you’ll treasure for generations!
STEP SIX: DELIVERY DAY!!!
Once we've finalized your order and everything is ready, I'll take care of the rest. Your beautiful artwork, albums, prints, and digitals will be ordered and delivered right to you. And honestly, this is my favorite part! There is just something about holding your own photographs in your hands that makes them feel even more special. I love seeing families open their albums, admire their artwork, and get excited about the memories they've chosen to bring home. It's the perfect way to finish your Mollie Jane Family Experience!
STEP FOUR: THE BIG REVEAL
Cue the happy tears! About 1–2 weeks after your session, once your images are edited, you'll receive a watermarked, preview gallery that will be available for 5 days. This is your first look at your images, you'll be able to look through your photos, relive the fun, and favorite the ones that make you smile. This gives you a chance to see your images and choose your favorites before your Ordering Appointment. **Your preview gallery is just the first look. Your final images are released once we've completed your Ordering Appointment.**
STEP TWO: PREPARATION
Once your session is booked, the fun really begins! You’ll receive my FAMOUS Mollie Jane Client Experience Guide with everything you need to start planning, from what to wear and how to prepare, to my favorite locations. With plenty of experience photographing families throughout St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, and Jacksonville, I’ll help you choose locations that fit your style and vision. This is your time to tell me all your ideas! We’ll talk through outfits, locations, and the details that will make the session feel completely personal. And I’ll also put my unofficial Florida meteorologist skills to work and keep a close eye on the weather as we get closer.

After your session, you'll have time to view your images and choose your favorites before we meet for an in-person or online Ordering Appointment to select the artwork and digital images you love most.
Every collection is customized to your family's needs, with most families investing between $800 and $2,000 for their completed collection.

We only need a few images, do you offer mini sessions.
At this time, I am not scheduling mini sessions in 2026. But that is something that I would love to do starting in 2027. Join the email list HERE to get all of the info!
How do I decide where to take our family pictures?
We’ll choose a location based what you love. We could go to the beach, downtown Jacksonville, historic St. Augustine, or something more laid-back and natural. I’ll help you narrow it down so it feels easy.
When will my pictures to ready to view and order?
Editing will take about 1-2 weeks and we will set up your Reveal and Order Appointment in that time frame at your session. Your prints and products will take 2-3 weeks to get in once the final payment has been made on all products and the contract is signed.
What if I don't want my images shared online?
No problem! If you'd like your images to remain completely private, you may purchase a Privacy Reservation when booking your session.
Session pricing assumes that Mollie Jane Photography may share a small selection of favorite images to showcase my work. Because complete privacy limits how I can share and promote my business, the Privacy Reservation is available for an additional fee.
What is included in my family session fee?
Your session fee includes your full family session experience, planning, the FAMOUS Mollie Jane Family Session Guide, your photography session, a private 5-day watermarked preview gallery, and an order credit to use toward your favorite images, prints, digitals, or artwork at your Ordering Appointment. Additional images and products are purchased separately, and I’ll help you find the options that fit your family and budget.
What is a Preview Gallery?
About 1–2 weeks after your session, you’ll receive a private, watermarked gallery that will be available for 5 days. This gives you a chance to see your images and choose your favorites. The images are for previewing and selecting only and are not available for download or sharing just yet.
What is a Ordering Appointment?
At your appointment, we’ll go through your favorite images together and decide which ones you’d like to make part of your final collection. For in-person appointments, I’ll also have printed proofs of your favorites ready for you to see and touch—there’s something special about seeing your images in print! We’ll explore all of your options, from digitals and prints to albums, artwork, and other beautiful products, and I’ll guide you through the process to make it easy, personal, and FUN

How do I book my family session?
It all starts with a conversation! Once you reach out, we'll hop on a call to talk through your family session, what you're envisioning, pricing, products, and answer any questions you have. Once we've decided on a date and you're ready to make it official, you'll sign the contract and pay the session fee. Then your date is secured and the fun begins!
