Zach and Nadeen chose to do their engagement session at McGovern Centennial Gardens in Houston. McGovern Centennial Gardens is definitely one of the most beautiful places in all of Houston. The springtime bloom in this part of Hermann Park is absolutely gorgeous! All of the color that pops up from all of the different flowers and foliage is breathtaking. Even if you are not doing an engagement session, just hop down there right now and see it!
The best part of my job is meeting new people! And I loved meeting Nadeen and Zack. They met through mutual friends that were dating and are now married. So fun built-in double dates! They are both from separate sides of Houston, but found each other! Love stories are so fun!
When I asked Nadeen if she knew where she wanted to do her engagement session, she knew right away that she wanted to do them at McGovern Centennial Gardens. We had the best time wandering through all of the sections of the garden. My favorite part, especially right now is the Rose Garden. Right now it is April and spring has definitely sprung! The roses are blooming so perfectly! The arches surrounding them are looking so full of beautiful colorful flowers. It really is a sight to behold. It photographs so beautifully also! Now is the time to go! Call me and schedule a photo session in this beautiful Houston garden while the flowers are out and before it gets so hot!
The Mount, right at the center of McGovern Centennial Gardens is the perfect focal point for pictures. Sometimes it is hard to get it without people in it. A secret is to go during the week! The weekend is not an ideal time to schedule pictures almost anywhere, but especially at Hermann Park and McGovern Centennial Gardens.
Here are a few of my favorites from their session:
