Memorial Park is truly one of my favorite engagement session locations in all of Houston! Even on a steamy summer day it is beautiful. Dare I say that it is even more beautiful because of all of the green! I am a total sucker for green. I will suffer and sweat to get those perfect summer photos for you! Kenny and Molly’s session was PERFECT! I cannot wait for their wedding next year at The Springs Angelton!
As I have said before, many times, shooting in the hot Houston summers (or late spring or early fall) is not easy, but it is worth it! Kenny and Molly’s engagement session in the Eastern Glades along the boardwalk was so much fun! These two had a sweet, natural easy relationship that made photography so easy!
We drank a lot of water! And knowing that it was going to be a hot day, we all hydrated the entire day leading up to their engagement session. We also took a cool-down break and it made all the difference. Because it is so hot, we start the session in the evening, as close to sunset as possible. Not only is this when the best light it, but it is also slightly cooler than mid-day and sometimes we get a breeze.
I loved this session so so much!!! We laughed so much and had such a great time. I mean, how could it not be? Molly and Mollie hanging out!
