These two high school sweethearts are tying the knot this October. I cannot wait! We had quite the adventure at their engagement session. I almost tripped over a Diamondback snake!!! But, luckily, Jessica saw it and gave me the heads up and I was able to jump over it! Yikes! If you know me, you know that I don’t do snake and especially not poisonous ones! Houston! You are giving me a crash course in the dangers of the southern outdoors!
But the scare was worth it. This session was beyond adorable!
Your Houston Engagement Photography in the Summer
How is the best way to handle a Houston Engagement photography in the Summer? Here are 5 ideas:
- Bring Water! Always bring water to your summer engagement session any southern state. You might also want to bring a fan to help you cool down.
- For guys, bring a change of shirt. You are going to get sweaty. You just are. Bring a shirt to change into about halfway through your session.
- If your chosen spot for your session is good for a morning session, that may be a cooler option. For me, I prefer evening light, so I would prefer to be a little warmer in the evening to have that beautiful warm light. Morning light is a little bit of a cooler light. But talk to your photographer.
- Only have 1 change of clothes. Your are thinking about making your session quick and getting the best bang for your buck.
- Go to the beach or lake. It might be a little bit cooler that way.
