Lily’s senior session was at Eleanor Tinsley Park in downtown Houston. This is such a cool park, especially for high school senior sessions and engagement sessions. I haven’t been able to do an engagement session here. It would be awesome! Who would like to do one? Let’s go!
There are so many options for your senior session at Eleanor Tinsley Park (or for your engagement session). There are so many pathways with the most beautiful light! The light in Houston, when it is not raining and gloomy, right at golden hour, is absolutely amazing!
You can also go down the hill to Buffalo Bayou Park and, if the light is just right, you can get the downtown Houston skyline in the background! Sabine Bridge is close too! I like to use the bridge for senior sessions right at the sun is setting so they are not squinting into the sun. At least for my style of photography, that works best. But, as a Houston senior photographer, you can also shoot the other way on the bridge, with Eleanor Tinsley Park and Buffalo Bayou Park in the background. That golden hour light is beautiful!
There is a part of Eleanor Tinsley Park that I love for a Houston senior portrait session, it is near the playground. Again, on those beautiful sunny days at golden hour, like at Lily’s senior session, the light was amazing! Eleanor Tinsley Park is a treasure trove of fun for your photography session!
Lily is our babysitter! My kids absolutely love her! They actually want us to go out on dates so that Lily can come over and watch them. We are so happy for her to be able to go to Utah State in the fall, but sad that we are going to lose a babysitter!
I love that through these pictures you can see her sweetness! Lily has the purest personality! We just love her and I know that she is going to so great in Utah!
