This Springs Cypress Wedding was one for the books! One thing that I have learned is that it rains a little bit here in Texas. And this day was no different. The sun would come out for a minute, and the next minute it was a torrential downpour. That is something to get used to, for sure! It is so important to have a venue that has the option for indoor or covered pictures.

The Springs Cypress Event Venue in Cypress, Texas has that option! As a natural light photographer, we need exactly that to get the pictures that our brides and grooms expect! I love it when venues make our job a little easier with gorgeous options for that rainy wedding day.

Every time that we would try to go outside for those epic images of the front of this gorgeous venue, that dreaded rain would start back up, Brenda and BJ were such good sports! Do you think rain on your wedding day is good luck? I don’t, necessarily, believe in “luck”, but I do know that it POURED down rain on my sister’s wedding day and they have been married for 35 years! It snowed on my wedding day and my husband and I have been married for 13 years. There may be some truth to that, what do you think?

The details at The Springs Cypress Wedding were amazing! Soft pink and white roses with the natural element and the black details were gorgeous! One of my favorite details was the piano! It was such a mood! I loved everything that it said about this couple and their beautiful relationship! And I am a complete sucker for the sheet music that worked so perfectly as the backdrop for their ring shot. How much do I love a good ring shot?
