Kristopher and Melissa’s Escondido Wedding was so perfect! After the dreaded virus put their wedding on hold, this Airbnb was the perfect alternative for their special day!
Kristopher and Melissa’s original wedding date was May 30, 2020 at an adorable park in Los Angeles County. As we all know, May 2020 did not happen, but they settled on June 2021. Then October 2020 rolls around, our family has decided to make some BIG changes and is moving to Texas. I am calling all of my postponed weddings to tell them that we are moving, but I am coming back for all of their 2021 postponed weddings. When I tell Melissa this, she laughed and told me that they were moving across the country also! So…we would both be traveling in for their wedding. I thought that was hilarious!
2020 was really the year for changes. It is crazy to me to not just look at how it affected my family’s life, but so many others. I think we could all right books about it!
As Kristopher and Melissa’s wedding got closer. Los Angeles county was not opening up at the same pace as the rest of the country. It got the point where they had to make an executive decision and they moved their wedding from L.A. to an adorable Airbnb in Escondido.
One thing that I will not be sad if it sticks around are the smaller wedding trend. Trimming the guest list to include family and really close friends makes your day so intimate and fun!!! I am a huge fan of this!
