An Altadena Country Club Wedding is a dream! The San Gabriel Mountains make the most picturesque backdrop for any occasion. I knew from the day that I first met Mario and Jessica at the beginning of 2019 that their Altadena Country Club wedding was going to be amazing.
A Covid Rescheduled Wedding
Yes, I met with Mario and Jessica at the beginning of 2019 for their April 2020 wedding. We were even able to do their engagement session in Corona Del Mar, you can see that HERE! Then, the dreaded virus hit and we all know what happened. Covid left so many bride’s hopes dashed and so many wedding wedding vendors devastated. BUT! Mario and Jessica remained hopeful and we rescheduled it for August 2020. Fingers crossed!
Well, we all know how that went. Nope! Especially in Los Angeles County, no weddings would be happening. So we tried again, this time for May 2021. Jessica would get the spring wedding that she always wanted. Friends, it was touch and go, up until about a month before their wedding day things were questionable. We didn’t know what restrictions were going to be, exactly how many guests that they would be able to have attend. Things were crazy. Having a wedding during coronavirus is not for the faint of heart.
Luckily, right about this time, the numbers in Los Angeles County dropped significantly and so were the restrictions. We were all so grateful! Jessica and Mario are amazing!
A Wedding Coordinator is Vital
From the very beginning, Mario and Jessica hired Carol Bahn from Blushing Details to coordinate their Altadena Country Club wedding. This was definitely their best decision ever! I have been a wedding photographer for 16 years, I believe a coordinator is so important. The coordinator allows you to enjoy the day while they manage all the little (and big things) for you. Hiring a coordinator is one of the best wedding financial decisions that you can make, next to, of course, an amazing, experienced wedding photographer!
