Such a special time celebrating the Kmak Family at their maternity session in Cypress! Bring me all the mamas-to-be! ‘Tis the season and I am so here for it! I have been shooting a lot of these sweet, growing Houston families lately. So fun!

Cypress Maternity Session

The Kmak’s were married in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Their venue had beautiful trees full of Spanish Moss. On their wedding day it was raining and they weren’t able to use them as they dreamed. When they saw this location, they were SOLD. They may not have been able to utilize Spanish Moss during their wedding, but we definitely will during their Cypress maternity session for their baby girl!

The day was absolutely gorgeous for their session. It is my favorite thing when we get a day with no clouds and the sun shines perfectly through the trees. All of my sessions are to commemorate special moments. It could be for a wedding, graduating from high school or college, a new baby, or just another year as a family, but, no matter what, I want all of my sessions to have light like this! In a photographer’s world, this is what dreams are made of!

Definitely, my favorite part of this shoot was under these trees with Spanish Moss! I don’t know what it is about them that I love so much! It may be because it is nostalgic to me, they remind me of when I was little visiting my family in Central Florida. When my clients love it as much as I do, I am a happy girl! Please, friends, let’s go take family pictures in the Spanish Moss! I can make it happen! Your Cypress maternity session is only 25 minutes from Houston!
