David and Choua’s wedding at the Edward-Dean Museum was perfect! Choua was the most exquisite bride, the absolute picture of feminity and beauty. And it was the sweetest thing to watch David just adore her! Can I just relive this day every weekend?
David and Choua were supposed to get married almost exactly a year before this day. But, being in California, we all know why they pushed it back to this year. So I was so excited to travel from Texas to California to shoot their wedding!
I have been shooting weddings in Southern California since 2008, I know beautiful August weather when I see it. David and Choua had THE most perfect weather, friends, it was in the low 80’s, with a breeze, in the desert! It was amazing! If I could bottle up weather and take it to every wedding, it would be this weather! The weather is definitely something I miss about living in Southern California.
Another one of my favorite parts of the day was Choua’s getting ready pictures. This room was so perfect for light and airy getting ready pictures. I photographed a wedding at the Edward-Dean Museum back in probably 2010, the absolutely beautiful improvements that they made were perfect! I loved how this part of the day turned out!
And oh that sweet sweet California light. It really does hit differently, especially when it’s shining over the mountains. And, oh how I love those mountains, I’m so glad that they got to be a part of my last official wedding there. Also, this is another testimony of how wonderful sunset portraits are. I am so grateful that David and Choua were so willing to get some of those sunset mountain portraits, they are gorgeous! These two really valued portraits and, I think, it really shows and enhances their gallery. Choose portraits! This day will never happen again, you won’t regret it!
Here are some of my favorite images from their day!
