It may have rained on us at this Cypress micro wedding. Their backyard wedding may have been moved inside, but did that bother Leslie and Victor? Nope! What a blessing this wedding was! My amazing friend, Alyncia, at Senae Photography asked me to associate shoot this wedding for her. Can I even tell you what an honor that is?! When a crazy talented photographer puts their whole trust in you to capture their client’s most perfect day, it is an complete honor! And I want to do my best. The weather tried to throw some wrenches in there, but I think we made it all work!
If there is one thing (there were many things) that we learned from 2020 is the definition on a micro wedding. I would love every bride that is thinking about planning a micro wedding to look a Leslie and Victor’s Cypress micro wedding and take notes. Even though 2020 ruined their plans of a big wedding, they did not cut back on their details. Leslie still hired an amazing planner and florist, had a gorgeous invitation suite and a flawless cake. Here centerpieces on the table were perfect! This is the very definition of a micro wedding! It has everything her dream wedding would have, just on a smaller scale. They had only their closest friends and family there to celebrate with them and they spoiled their guests with a delicious catered meal and the most adorable favors. This is how it’s done, y’all!
The rain. Yes, the rain tried to have it’s say in their day. But this is the very reason you hire professionals. The planner, florist and the photographers just got to work on Plan B. Leslie and Victor didn’t have to worry about a thing. It was beautiful and we got perfect images. I am so happy with how the day turned out.
Here are some of my favorites!
