Summer weddings at the Newport Beach Temple are some of my favorites.  Little known fact, when they announced that they were going to build the Newport Beach temple in 2001, I vowed that is where I was going to get married!  I grew up spending summers in Newport, that was my beach, and it was going to be on my wedding invitation.  Well, fast forward to 2007, when I got engaged, that was still my plan, even though, at the time, I lived in Utah and so did the majority of my family, plus, the majority of my soon-to-be husband’s family lived in Michigan and Mexico.  But I was determined, that is until my dad really talked to me about the logistics of it all, and he was right.  I would have been very difficult for everyone that I cared about to go to California.  Long story, but…the Newport Beach Temple is very special to me.  I love shooting weddings here!

Ben and Lauren were so adorable and fun to work with.  I loved their outdoor reception with the vintage buildings!!!  It made pictures SO fun!
